Hi Ryan, can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your lifestyle?

I am a 45 year old digital nomad who runs Blogging From Paradise. I have circled the globe for the past decade and teach people how to be pro bloggers who circle the globe.

What is your current destination?

I am living in the forests of upstate New York in the USA.

Can you tell us a bit about the projects you are currently working on? Are you currently looking for some new projects and clients?

My only project is simply creating content and building meaningful connections with authority bloggers in my niche. From there, I have over 120 eBooks, 2 courses and ample audio books and paperbacks for people to buy passively. I focus on the process and allow my passive blogging profits to grow. This is my business model.

What do you like the most about being a Digital Nomad?

Freedom; I can go anywhere, at any time, for any amount of time. Freedom is what all human beings crave more than anything. Being a digital nomad is one worldly way to achieve this level of freedom.

And what are the downsides of it (in case there are any)?

Facing fears fueling attachments is not so much a downside but simply an uncomfortable aspect of being a digital nomad. My wife and I just sold the house to be genuine, home-free, digital nomads for the first time, as although we traveled extensively, we had a home base owned by a relative for a while. We had to give up 3 of our beloved pet cats which felt painful. But finding loving homes for them eased our pain and facing, feeling and releasing the fear fueling our attachment to them, liberated us. Basically, the seeming downside is really an upside 😊

What is a place/country you liked the most while travelling and why? What’s on your to-travel-list?

New Zealand is gorgeous. I have never seen a more pristine spot during our world travels. I have no place in particular on my travel list. I just go where the wind takes me.

How often do you use coworking spaces? Is there one that you’d like to recommend to other nomads?

I have never used one but see quite a few whenever I am in Chiang Mai. CAMP in Chiang Mai looks appealing to me whenever I am strolling through the mall.

Can you tell us what is your biggest dream?

I am living it 😊 My dream is to circle the globe and I am doing it so I feel happy, content and grateful.

In case you have a motto, could you share it with us?

Follow your fun right into your fear. Then keep going.

Could you share with us the names of two inspiring digital nomads that you are following?

Sab at Just One Way Ticket and Rob Cubbon are two rocking digital nomads who come to mind. Both have been living this lifestyle for a minute.

Is there something that you would like to add?

Hit the road, see the world and in so doing, you will bring the world together. Appreciating how much we are alike becomes easier and easier if you travel, experience different cultures and see the world through your own eyes.
